We are seeking a motivated individual for a full-time, unpaid trainee position lasting six months. This remote opportunity offers hands-on experience in web development within a structured work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role is designed for recent graduates who have completed their bachelor’s degree and are eager to develop foundational skills in PHP and related technologies. This position is ideal for candidates looking to gain practical exposure in a professional environment while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
– Collaborate with the team to implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
– Support database management tasks involving MySQL and relational database concepts.
– Work with RESTful APIs and handle data exchange in JSON format.
– Participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure application functionality and performance.
– Follow coding standards and contribute to documentation as needed.
Required Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Undergraduate students or those currently enrolled in academic programs are not eligible.
– Beginner-level proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
– Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data formats.
– Fundamental knowledge of relational databases and their structure.
– Ability to commit full-time hours during the specified work schedule.
