Management Trainee Officer – Sustainability at Sapphire Mills

About the Role

Sapphire Finishing Mills is looking for a Management Trainee Officer – Sustainability to join its team at the Raiwind, Lahore facility. This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated graduate to build a career in sustainability within the textile manufacturing sector, working closely with cross-functional teams to support the company’s environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of sustainability programs and initiatives across the facility
• Support compliance with environmental regulations and industry sustainability standards
• Collect, analyze, and report data related to energy use, water consumption, waste management, and emissions
• Coordinate with production and operations teams to identify opportunities for resource efficiency
• Help prepare documentation and reports for internal reviews and external audits/certifications
• Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning as part of the management trainee program
• Support any assigned projects related to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related Sustainability discipline
• 0–1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Raiwind, Lahore
