We are looking for an experienced Payable Officer to join the Finance team and manage day-to-day Accounts Payable operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in supplier payments, reconciliations, AP ageing, financial documentation, and hands-on UAE VAT and accounting exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and on time.
Match invoices with purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.
Maintain supplier accounts and perform regular reconciliations.
Manage AP ageing reports and supplier payment schedules.
Process approved supplier and operational payments.
Handle fleet, fuel, maintenance, transportation, and other operational expenses.
Prepare Accounts Payable reports and support month-end closing activities.
Assist with bank and payment reconciliations and cash-flow reporting.
Maintain proper documentation, approvals, and audit trails.
Ensure accurate UAE VAT treatment and compliance.
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, or Finance Operations.
B.Com, ACCA Finalist, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification.
Hands-on UAE VAT and accounting exposure is required.
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and payment deadlines.
Logistics, transportation, or fleet industry experience will be an advantage.
