siParadigm Diagnostic Informatics has built an 18-year legacy in laboratory testing solutions, earning national accreditation from CLIA and CAP, specializing in advanced genomic and diagnostic testing for solid tumor and hematologic cancers. siParadigm is hiring a PhD-level R&D (AI) Lead to define and drive its applied-research agenda in AI and machine learning, leading research initiatives from concept to prototype to production alongside engineering teams. Responsibilities: define and own the R&D roadmap aligned with product and business goals; lead applied research across machine learning, deep learning, NLP/LLMs, and computer vision for healthcare and diagnostic applications; rapidly prototype, validate, and benchmark new approaches; mentor developers and junior researchers; ensure research and data practices respect healthcare data privacy requirements. Requirements: PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; minimum 3 years post-degree experience; demonstrated research excellence (publications, patents, or applied-research portfolio); hands-on expertise with PyTorch/TensorFlow; strong Python skills and MLOps/cloud platform familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP).
