A leading telecommunications company is seeking a skilled Online Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will provide remote technical assistance to customers, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position involves working full-time with a rotational shift schedule, offering opportunities for performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
– Respond promptly to customer inquiries through chat, email, or support systems.
– Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or connectivity issues remotely.
– Guide customers through step-by-step solutions and assist with product usage.
– Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support or engineering teams as needed.
– Document all technical interactions, resolutions, and customer feedback accurately in the ticketing system.
– Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service-level agreements (SLAs).
– Provide remote support for configuration, installation, and software upgrades when applicable.
– Educate users about product features, system updates, and preventive maintenance measures.
– Collaborate with the technical team to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
– Maintain professionalism and courtesy to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
– Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
– Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis, with shifts changing monthly.
– Must be based in Islamabad and able to work on-site.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
– Previous experience in technical support or a related role is advantageous.

– Full-time employment with a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 40,700 to PKR 55,000.
