Programmers Force is looking for a motivated Network Technician to support its on‑site IT Operations in Lahore. This entry‑level position involves hands‑on tasks such as cabling, rack organization, hardware assembly, CCTV upkeep and daily field support throughout the office.
Responsibilities
- Install structured cabling, run PVC ducts, terminate RJ45 connectors, and test patch panels and desk drops.
- Mount and arrange network switches, patch panels and power strips in racks, keeping cables tidy with Velcro ties and managers.
- Assist in installing CCTV cameras, PoE lines and connect DVR/NVR systems, as well as set up biometric attendance devices.
- Assemble desktop PCs, monitors and peripherals; perform basic hardware troubleshooting and replace RAM or SSDs.
- Place Wi‑Fi routers and access points to ensure reliable wireless coverage across office floors.
- Track IT assets, handle incoming and outgoing equipment, and maintain an organized inventory store.
Who Should Apply
- Matric or Intermediate qualification (SSC/FA/FSc/ICS/DAE).
- Up to one year of practical experience in networking, cabling or computer hardware.
- Familiarity with crimping tools, RJ45 (T568B), punch‑down tools and cable testers.
- Basic knowledge of desktop components such as RAM, storage and power supplies.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks like ladder work, cable routing and rack lifting.
- Ability to understand basic technical labels in English and communicate in Urdu.
