Caliber Technologies, located in Hyderabad, is looking for a trainee software engineer to assist in building and maintaining .NET based applications. The role combines back‑end development, database work, and front‑end implementation while encouraging the use of AI‑powered coding assistants.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain applications using C# and VB.NET following object‑oriented principles.
- Create and fine‑tune SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions and views for efficient data handling.
- Build web solutions with ASP.NET Web API/MVC and integrate front‑end libraries such as jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Use version‑control tools like TFS, Git or GitHub to manage code and collaborate with teammates.
- Help set up and run CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.
- Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot) to boost productivity and practice prompt engineering.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver software that meets business needs.
Who Should Apply
- Strong knowledge of C# and VB.NET with solid OOP fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL Server, including complex queries and stored objects.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET Web API or MVC frameworks.
- Basic skills in jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience using TFS, Git or GitHub for source control.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated deployment processes.
